FAQ
Questions about joining the staff
Is this a paid position?
No. In principle, staff take part on a pro bono (unpaid) basis.
How much time does it take?
About 5 hours a week, over two days. Regular meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month, 21:00–22:00 JST. If your main job gets busy, let us know.
Do I need to speak English?
No. Most activities are in Japanese, and if Japanese isn't your strong language, you can work in English.
Can students apply?
Yes. We welcome anyone who can take on a role and goals, just like working professionals.
Can I join from outside Japan?
Yes. Most activities are online, and some members join across time zones. In-person events are mainly run by members near Shibuya and Sagamihara.
I can't commit every week. Can I still be involved?
Yes — as a Red Supporter, with no required attendance. Help with events once a month or once every few months.
